Ventricular septal defect, muscular

DA: 15

Developmental anomaly information

Definition: VSDs are caused by embryologic malformations of the ventricular septum, there is a defect in the inferior muscular part of ventricular septum. The interventricular communication corresponds to the abnormal passage of blood between the two ventricles (generally from the left ventricle toward the right ventricle).

  • VSD muscular
